It was Clay Johnson’s first time to qualify for a major open finals and he won it with a 226-point performance that brought down the house on KR Isadora Dual.

Dustin Adams and Hottish came out of the gate and lapped the field with a 227-point NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro record win, as second to work in the Finals.

Christina Cox earned her spurs Friday, as the latest champion in cutting’s preeminent Galyean family, with her 220-point win aboard SDP Twist Of Sue, by Meradas Blue Sue.

Patrick Collins and Lach Down score a 217.5 to take the finals of the 2012 XTO / NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro Gelding division on April 12, 2012.

Tarin Rice and That Sly Bob marked 224 Tuesday to win the Open Gelding finals at the XTO Energy NCHA Super Stakes.

Tom Dvorak drew last in the 16-horse finals of the John Deere Division of the XTO Energy NCHA Super Stakes Saturday night, but his 224-point performance gave him a one-point victory. Dvorak rode Chad and Amie Bushaw’s Bet On A Cat, by High Brow Cat.

Mary Kate Huntsberger, Paso Robles, Calif., came into the NCHA Super Stakes Amateur Finals on a 217-point high note from the go-round and rode out with a 218-point championship win aboard My Lil Lucky Duck.
