Dan Evans


After 23 years in cutting, Dan Evans has certainly made a big impact on the sport. Evans was able to produce over 120 cuttings at his facility in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and he gave the opportunity for many to participate in cutting.

Jim Milner


He and his wife, Mary Jo, have become an icon in the cutting industry, and their involvement and continued efforts to help improve the NCHA have proven to be just as important to them as their success as owners and showmen.

Mary Jo Milner


Having served on numerous committees, including the Open Show committee, the Non-Pro, the Youth and being on the World Series of Cutting Task Force, Milner covers all the bases of a sport that has been her livelihood for many years.

Rufus Hayes


Countless NCHA members were introduced to cutting and the Association by Hayes. It’s impossible to quantify the number of people he has introduced to the sport over the last five decades.

Terry Strange


A well-known professional in the accounting world, Strange has donated his services for nine years on the NCHA Finance Committee.

Bob Joy


He is not known for the titles he’s won, nor earnings in the NCHA. He hasn’t trained world champions or bred a horse of the year. But Bob Joy is as much of an iconic member of the association as many of his friends who wear championship buckles.
